Academic Certificate

The individual has met all of the requirements for the issuance of an Academic certificate of registration as set out in Ontario Regulation 543/94, the College’s by-laws and policies and:

  1. Has been appointed to teach or conduct research at an Ontario University;
  2. Is eligible to engage in active professional practice in Ontario to the extent required by the teaching or research requirements of the professional appointment in speech-language pathology and/or audiology in an Ontario University;
  3. Has professional liability insurance coverage of at least $2,000,000.00 per claim if within the scope of his or her practice, the individual is directly responsible for providing or deciding to provide any clinical service;
  4. Has paid an annual fee;
  5. Must collect Continuous Learning Activity Credits.
