Quality Assurance Program

Trust matters.  One of the ways we protect the public is by ensuring audiologists and speech language pathologists (SLPs) complete the annual Quality Assurance Program

Every year, Audiologists and SLPs enhance their knowledge and skills by:

  • reviewing Professional Standards set by the College and determine if they are meeting the standards.
  • developing three learning goals to meet the standards and/or maintain their competence and increase their knowledge
  • engaging in at least 15 learning hours to achieve their learning goals.

The College also randomly selects Audiologists and SLPs for a peer assessment. An experienced peer assessor goes to the member’s place of work to ensure they are meeting the standards and to identify areas for improvement.
